Opals Embossing Enamels are available in three different sizes, the Opalettes set, a tweenie jar with 50gm, or the larger jar with 90gm.The Opalette set is the perfect starter set which contains five, 9 gram pots of OPALS. Not only are these sets a great way to try out all the colours, but they also make a great set of 'drop ins' . The tweenie jar (50gm) is a great in-between step. There is enough Opals to make tons of tiles and projects with your heat gun, but to also try melting in a melt pot or skillet to pour moulds or use cookie cutters. For the fully addicted, we would suggest the larger 90gm Jar. This will last you a long time and is perfect for those who are more interested in the jewellery side of Opals - with plenty of powder to melt down and pour embellishments with.

Aurora: (purple) The Aurora Australis is the southern hemisphere's answer to the Aurora Borealis. It is a meteorological phenomena that results in some amazing displays of shimmering colours in the sky, ranging from reds and pinks, to blues, greens and purples. It is visible mainly in polar regions, but at times can be seen in Tasmania's night skies.

Valentine's Peak: (mauve pink) once called the 'Peak like a volcano', stands south of Burnie, a lone conical mountain in the Hampshire Hills. First climbed in 1827by early explorer, Henry Hellyer, Valentine's Peak was named for the day on which it was first reached. On a clear day, the climber can see for many miles in all directions.

Sunburnt: (terracotta bronze) When Dorothea MacKellar wrote the lines, "I love a sunburnt country", she wasn't just talking about the sun's burning rays. Australia is a country of rich earthy tones. Everywhere you go in this wide brown land, you will see all shades of copper, bronze, red and gold. These colours indicate the perfection of adaptation of the fauna to our extreme climate.

Mountain Berry: (hot pink) (cyothodes parvifolia) an endemic Tasmanian montane plant. With cream bell shaped flowers and tiny prickly dark green leaves, the plants are covered with bright pink berries in the winter.
The mountain berry plants give splashes of colour to the natural green of the Tasmanian highlands.

Fool's Gold: (yellow) Some of Australia's most important developments in history evolved around the discovery of gold, including the famous Eureka Stockade. Even Tasmania had its share of gold rushes. Fool's gold, or iron pyrite, is a shiny yellow mineral often mistaken for gold. It can have a beautiful lustre, and is a favourite of rock collectors.
